#i love how Nine’s face just changes #he watched someone just toss away something of complex beauty and intricate detail #and in that second I think he lost all respect for VanStatten #because if a man who claims to have a passion alien artifacts tosses away a cultural treasure #a amazing thing like that #how much easily does he toss away and disrespect people? #Nine’s love of humanity for their strength wrapped in fragility #and then this man tosses away an instrument of music and delicacy and I think the Doctor got the greatest bit of information on VanStatten’s character in that little action (via rose-tylers-daughter)
